This application offers a useful tool for exploring the phenomenon of Delayed Auditory Feedback (DAF), which can interfere with speech production.

While primarily intended for experimental purposes, DAF has potential applications in speech therapy and in practicing speeches to be delivered in large venues where echo effects pose challenges.

Currently, the app is designed for Android devices equipped with built-in echo cancellation capabilities, such as smartphones supporting speakerphone functions. When used on tablets, which often lack integrated echo suppression, it is recommended to use headphones to avoid potential audio feedback issues.

The controls include volume and delay adjustments. Users should set the volume to prevent feedback loops and modify the delay to achieve effective disruption of speech, with approximately 150 milliseconds often providing optimal results. For best efficacy, the device should be positioned as close to the user's mouth as feasible.

The app is free, fully functional, and devoid of advertisements. A voluntary contribution option is available via in-app billing, presented without intrusive prompts.
